Our nursing staff consists of experienced midwifes (matrona in Spanish). These are all professionals of the highest quality, most of whom have experienced motherhood. This guarantees empathy and understanding of what it is to have recently given birth.

The director of Maternitas, Dr Rutger Diederix, is a Dutch native. After the birth of his daughter in Madrid, he sensed the lack in Spain of an advanced post-natal care, such as is habitual in his native country. Now Dr Diederix has devoted himself to ensure the availability of such help to any mother in Spain.
